Yongpyong Alpine Centre is one of the venues of PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games.
Located in the PyeongChang Mountain Cluster, the venue will host the Alpine Skiing events of Giant Slalom, Slalom and Alpine Team Event of the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The venue is located in the Yongpyong (Dragon Valley) Ski Resort in Daegwallyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do, South Korea.
Yongpyong Resort was one of the three main sites of the 1999 Asian Winter Games which were hosted by Gangwon. It also hosted Men’s World Cup slalom and giant slalom events in four seasons (1998, 2000, 2003, and 2006) and the 2009 Biathlon World Championships.
The capacity of the venue is 12,000 (4,500 Seats / 7,500 Standing).
It is the largest ski and snowboard resort in South Korea. The ski season runs from November to early April. In addition to skiing, the resort offers golf in the summer months.
