Pyeongchang, South Korea will host the 2018 Winter Games which consists of Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

This will be the second time that South Korea will got Olympic Games, previously having hosted the Summer Games in 1988 in Seoul.

The 2018 Winter Olympics, commonly known as PyeongChang 2018 is scheduled to take place in Pyeongchang County, South Korea from 9 to 25 February 2018.

The Opening and Closing Ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics will take place at the Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium.

More than 2800 athletes from more than 90 countries will participate in 102 events taking place in 15 sports discipline. These include –

Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Bobsleigh, Cross-country Skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Freestyle Skiing, Ice Hockey, Luge, Nordic Combined, Short Track Speed, Skating, Skeleton, Ski Jumping, Snowboarding and Speed Skating

The Venues for these events are divided into two clusters – Pyeongchang Mountain Cluster and Gangneung Coastal Cluster.

PyeongChang Mountain Cluster venues :

The 2018 Winter Paralympics, commonly known as PyeongChang 2018 Paralympics is scheduled to take place in Pyeongchang County, South Korea from 9 to 18 March 2018.

The Opening and Closing Ceremony of the 2018 Winter Paralympics will take place at the Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium.

More than 550 Athletes from around 42 countries will participate in 80 events taking place in 6 sports discipline. These include –

Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Cross-country Skiing, Ice Sledge Hockey, Snowboarding and Wheelchair Curling.

The Venues for these events are divided into two clusters – Pyeongchang Mountain Cluster and Gangneung Coastal Cluster.
