Olympic Sliding Centre : PyeongChang 2018 Venue

Olympic Sliding Centre (알펜시아 슬라이딩 센터) is one of the venues of PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games.

Located in the PyeongChang Mountain Cluster, the venue will host the Bobsleigh, Luge and Skeleton events of 2018 Winter Olympics.

The venue is located in in the Alpensia resort in Yongsan-ri, in the township of Daegwallyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, South Korea.

The track covers surface of 177,000 square metres (44 acres). The track will be 2,018 metres long to commemorate the Olympic Games.Its width is 1.40 m. The altitude of the track goes from 940 m down to 800 m at finish level.

The venue was built in 2016 for the 2018 Winter Games.

The capacity of the venue is 7,000 (1,000 Seats / 6,000 Standing).

During the non-winter season, the venue is used as an association football venue for Gangwon FC by using its landing area as the pitch.
